Ina Fabian a dat nota:

‘Life with a cheat code isn’t life. Our existance isn’t something to be engineered or optimized for the avoidance of pain. That’s what it is to be human - the beauty and the pain, each meaningless without the other.’ This book has kept my eyes wide open page by page. I thought that his previous book ‘Dark Matter’ was brilliant and no other book will raise above it. Until now. The subject of False Memory Syndrome was something I never read before, not even in an online article. That’s why it was so fascinating to read about it in this book. I was immediatly drawn by the subject, the complexity of the story that was developed page by page (it was like feeling in a rollercoaster), the importance of each character in the book. It’s the kind of book that can’t be put down, because of the intriguing and relatable in nowadays subject of matter. After reading such a book, I kept wondering: what if? What if humans could go back in time, relive memories or change their course of action? Sounds really crazy, but I like when a book challenges me in that way, to search more for answers. The story for this book was created around implanting a false memory into the brain of a mouse, which happened in 2014. The neuroscientists want to use this medical experiment to treat depression, PTSD and Alzheimer.
