Extras
Throughout this book, I use the words analyze, contemplate, investigate, explore. We survey, we canvas the complexities of our subjects. There is so much to see. Where do we begin a painting? I want to help you observe with a clear eye your subject's unique structure, color, and value relationships. The ultimate goal is to distill these intricacies into a simply expressed, harmonious construction. This goal is a constant. It transcends genre.
