Review
from
previous
edition
This
book
should
definitely
be
recommended
to
those
new
to
the
specialty
Excellent book, plenty of information on everything to do with high risk pregnancy. Includes symptoms, risk factors and management . . . a must have, a load of information in a small book by reputable clinicians. Definitely recommended!
This book is set out clearly and has good evidence based information on conditions, their causes and guidelines for treatment. As a midwifery student I have found it invaluable in studying high risk pregnancy and plan to keep it with me when working for reference.
A practical and excellent resource...thoroughly recommended.
Very reader-friendly and the style is very easy to absorb for a junior doctor especially if new to O&G... Its strength is that it is user-friendly and good core clinical knowledge and practice is covered for junior doctors.
This is a solid contribution for UK obstetricians/gynecologists
Review from previous edition Detailing the basic science behind the conditions, the book will help practitioners to understand the impact of treatments and medication.
A simple but useful handbook. It is appropriate for those wanting a basic resource to retrieve information quickly.
Compact enough to slip into a pocket, this handbook gives a good overview...it is well-illustrated with graphs and diagrams...[and includes] information on Nuvaring and the contraceptive sponge, which are not currently available in the UK.
...there is almost no superfluous information and all the text is directed to helping the healthcare professional deal with a patient in front of them. It is very much direct, straight to the point and most importantly, practical... It's an excellent and practical book, particularlu for primary health care teams as well as a GP registrar.
