Notă biografică

SIMON L. DOLAN is Professor of Work Psychology and Human Resource Management at ESADE, Barcelona. He obtained his doctorate (Ph.D.) at the Carlson Graduate School of Management, The University of Minnesota and taught over 25 years in Montreal. Dolan is former president and co-founder of the International Society for the Study of Work and Organizational Values (ISSWOV). He is co-author of over 26 books in management and organizational psychology, and over 100 articles in scholarly journals. Through his Montreal-based consulting firm, Gestion MDS Management Inc., (and more recently SPIRIT Consulting Group in Europe), he has consulted hundreds of organizations in N. America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East on subjects of human resource management, performance enhancement and management of change. SALVADOR GARCIA is currently an Associate Professor of Organizational Psychology at the University of Barcelona. He obtained his doctorate degree in Medicine (M.D.) in Spain and retrained as an organizational development specialist at Harvard Business School. Garcia has been the president of the Spanish Organizational Development Society, and cofounder of the "Utopia" movement (www.eutopia.es). Garcia is the author (or coauthor) of 4 books related to the management of values and organizational stress. He has consulted numerous Spanish and Latin American organizations in the field of values, creativity and change management.

BONNIE RICHLEY is currently a Visiting Professor of Organizational Behavior in the Department of Human Resources at ESADE Business School in Barcelona. She holds a Ph.D. and an Msc in Organizational Behavior from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Richley has consulted with organizations using Appreciative Inquiry methodology, experiential learning, leadership and development, and leading teams. She is also a certified executive coach in Emotional Intelligence competencies. Her research interests include the diffusion of values in social innovations, women in science and academia, change management and the creative process in organizing.
